"FLIGHTS OF FANCY" PACKAGE
 Amazing wildlife and award-winning wines, all in the soaring capital of the world!  Famous pilots from Amelia Earhart to Eileen Collins all found this to be the perfect place to fly.  We can offer you everything from vintage WWII planes to sailplanes to commercial airlines.  But "flight" doesn't just mean in a plane.  The surrounding area offers some of the most diverse birding opportunities, especially for a small urban setting.  Elmira has recently been named one of the Best Green Cities (#31) by Country Home magazine.  That much "greenery" supports bald eagles, heron, and the largest colony of ring-billed gulls this far south.  And the best part is you can view the gulls nesting area from the Main Street bridge, right in downtown!  "Flights of Wine" can be read two ways.  Traditionally, it is a term used for a sampling of three or more glasses of wine offering a selection based on a particular theme.  However, we here in the Finger Lakes region can provide a more whimsical meaning, since we have seven wineries around four lakes named for various birds.  Your "Flights of Fancy" package includes:
