Wineries 
The Finger Lakes region is the second largest wine region in the United
States. It is known as New York's "wine country" with more than 80 wineries along the
three major lakes
offering wine tasting and tours. Many wineries have restaurants and
spectacular views of the lakes.
The Corning Museum of Glass
The Corning Museum of Glass was founded in 1951 and is the world's largest
glass museum. It features over 30,000 pieces of art glass in its galleries! Also features a sculpture gallery, glass studios, optics/window galleries, innovation center, and more! Glass shop provides customers with the opportunity to purchase an array of products and materials on art, history and science of glass
as well as art glass from local and national artists including the one and

Watkins Glen International Raceway
World-renowned, multi-venue, 1,500 acre racing facility featuring a 3.77
mile road racing track. Host to many world-class racing events including

Watkins Glen State Park
1-1/2 miles of breathtaking gorge trails featuring over 800 stone steps,

Seneca Lake Boating and Cruises
The Malabar X, a three-masted schooner sails the waters of Seneca Lake
from May until early fall offering morning, afternoon and sunset cruises.
Captain Bill's Cruise is a 10-mile Seneca Lake trip with hourly
departures from May thru October. Dinner cruises are also available. Let

The Clemens Center For The Performing Arts
For more than a decade, this 1600 seat theatre has brought entertainment
to Elmira. The Clemens Center offers dance, comedy, Broadway theatre,

Woodlawn Cemetery
Burial site of Mark Twain and his
beloved wife, Olivia Langdon. Located approximately one mile from
The Painted Lady, Woodlawn cemetery is also the resting place for hundreds
of un-named confederate civil war soldiers.
The Windmill Farm and Craft Market
The Windmill is New York State's premier farm & craft market formed to create an outlet for the unique handiwork of the various craftspeople in the region and for the many farm products of this agricultural area. Harris
Hill Park
This park features a picnic area, playground, Olympic-size outdoor pool, amusement park, two skating rinks, three hole par 3 golf course,
mini-golf, glider field and National Soaring Museum.

Newtown Battlefield
The park is the site of a battle between the Continental Army and Iroquois Indians. Picnic areas, hiking, scenic overlook and more. (607) 732-6067
Tanglewood Nature Center

The Arnot Mall

Skydiving
Finger Lakes Skydivers offers the tandem program to introduce you to the world of skydiving. Following a short instructional session, we will fly you to an altitude of 10,000 feet where your skydiving adventure begins. Harnessed to your own personal instructor you will exit the aircraft and experience the thrill of 30 seconds of free fall. Golf in The Finger Lakes is both plentiful and reasonable. A
world-class Donald Ross course is less than 10 minutes from The Painted

Arena
First Arena is home to the Elmira Jackals
ECHL hockey team and hosts special events, tournaments, conventions, and concerts.

Arnot Art Museum
Once a family home, the museum houses a permanent collection of 17th-19th century European paintings, 19th century American paintings, and sculpture.

National Soaring Museum
Featured are over a dozen assembled historic gliders, sailplanes, and a computer exhibit where you can design you own sailplane. The museum also contains artifacts related to motorless flight. Sailplane rides available. The museum houses the largest exhibit of classic and contemporary sailplanes in the world. Wings of Eagles Discovery Center
Formerly The National Warplane Museum, the Wings Of Eagles Discovery Center is an educational institution founded to collect, preserve, interpret and exhibit military aviation memorabilia and to fly military aircraft. The Glenn H. Curtiss Musuem
The Glenn Curtiss Museum highlights the "Spirit of Innovation" which made Glenn Curtiss successful as a cyclist, motorcyclist, aviator, engineer and entrepreneur. Located in the Keuka Lake setting of his early triumphs, including his partnership with Alexander Graham Bell, the museum emphasizes Curtiss' work, achievements and community backdrop from the turn of the century through the 1930's. 607-569-2160
