While a large number of our guests come to the area specifically to visit the many wineries along The Finger Lakes, there is an extraordinary variety of activities awaiting you- all convenient to ELMIRA’S PAINTED LADY. The city of Elmira is large enough to be active and progressive, yet not so big that it is overwhelming. Located in the Near Westside Historic District, we are close to shops and restaurants and less than 5 minutes from the highway. There are many fine restaurants, movie theatres, community libraries, performing arts, a community civic arena, and several museums all within just a few blocks! The Finger Lakes region itself is a land of striking beauty with rolling hills, six glacier formed lakes, gorges and waterfalls and a host of outdoor activities that allow you to enjoy all this beauty to its fullest!. Visit your choice of more than 100 wineries along the Finger Lakes Wine Trail or spend an afternoon exploring the Corning Museum of Glass and the many shops and brew pubs on historic Market Street.
